The Indianapolis Senior Center provides programs and services that enhance the lives of adults 55 and older. We serve individuals through health, recreation, and educational activities that support our members’ independence and produce healthier lifestyles.

New Expanded Hours for the Fitness Center! We're open 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Beginning January 7, 2012, the fitness center will be open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - NOON.

ISC welcomes Garden on the Go. Garden on the Go is operated by Green B.E.A.N. Delivery, part of IU Health’s large-scale initiative to improve access to healthy foods and safe places for physical activity. Garden on the Go sells only fresh fruits and vegetables and features a large variety of produce from local and regional sources. Come to the Senior Center on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. for some great shopping.

Recycle your Cell Phone at the Senior Center

The Indianapolis Senior Center is now an official Cell Phone Recycling Site! Donate your old cell phones, cell phone chargers, and/or cell phone batteries. Your donation will allow us to provide emergency communications to seniors in Greater Indianapolis.

Remember, less than 5% of all used cellular phones are recycled, most end up in drawers collecting dust, some end up in our landfills. What better way to beneficially reuse that old cell phone while doing a good turn for the environment and your community.
